Silver Impregnated Granular Activated Carbon (SGAC) removes organic materials, chlorine bad taste and odour as well as pesticides and herbicides. Silver has long been associated with sterilisation offering a high level of bacterial control completely safe and odourless. The silver treatment is designed to prolong the life of the filter for a 12 month period instead of the usual 6 month changeover.

Please note that this filter should not be used on water that is biologically unsafe without suitable pre-treatment sterilisation.
